A. USAGE:

  • For slowing or decreasing the motility of sperms for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).

F. PRECAUTIONS:

  • Respect storage conditions of the product.
  • Do not use the product after its expiry date.
  • Do not use the product packaging appears damaged or if the seal is broken.
  • Store product in an area protected from light.
  • Manipulate the product in aseptic conditions (e.g.: under laminar air flow).
  • Wear clothes adapted to the manipulation of the product to avoid contamination (e.g.: gloves, mask, hygiene cap, overall, … etc.).
  • The product is intended to be used in vitro, in laboratory only.
  • Do not use it in therapy, human or veterinary applications.


G. PROCEDURES:

  • BioMEDIA IMMOBILIZATION KIT is recommended for Safe intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
  • It Facilitate sperm immobilization and injection into the oocytes.
  • It supports sperm survival and safe metabolic pathway during intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
  • Place aliquot of sperm into liquid PVP 10 % solution.
  • Fill ICSI pipette with PVP 10 % solution and then capture single, immobilized sperm according to standard laboratory protocols.
  • Sperm is now ready for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) procedure.
